Kerry Graves, MSW, PhD candidate–Criminal Justice (Criminology)
**Kerry was presented with the Teachers Excellence Award on May 12, 2012, by the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and their Veterans in Education Project.

Education & Professional Background
- Master’s Degree in Social Work; Ph.D. candidate in criminology (2013).
- Fully licensed private investigator and Criminologist with a wide variety of skills and experience on domestic, family, and security matters.
- Four years experience working as a child welfare investigator, while completing all N.C. state training regarding child abuse and neglect as well as teaching social workers across the State about child abuse and neglect.
- Former clinical instructor in child welfare at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Jordan Institute for Families and Child Welfare Coordinator at N.C. State University.
- Served 9 years in the U.S. Army, trained with the Rangers and Special Forces, as well as Blackwater USA, developing a specialty in executive protection.

With a solid background in cases including skip tracing, executive protection for families, teens, victims of domestic violence, and individuals; child visitations; child support collections; computer forensics; missing children and adolescents; child abuse; and nursing home and elder abuse and neglect cases, Kerry’s knowledge and experience are unsurpassed among private investigators.
